Old Days Sketchbook

Filling up a sketchbook is a sort of action almost everyone did back then. Surely many take it as a kind of diary, doodling, sketching stuff that swim thru their heads...

Recently, I brought a book that share sketches of art creator from a book fair, although it's not a "fine art" book, but it inspires me,quite an amount <3 *huge sigh*

So here am I sharing my sketches that I never thought to show it in the public. :D

Initial sketch
-第一副风景创作的草图,原本要画人的,因为还是当时菜鸟的关系老师不太建议(嗯,重点是风景)
Sketches for my first landscape painting, was to put people in but my teacher doesn't suggest to do so because I'm still new in oil painting (regarding to get better marks for the semester ya know?) This is a painting of Chinese cementery scenery (from view of on top of the mountain) During the festival when Chinese pay respect to their ancestors, heaps of paper money were burn and causes heavy air pollution. Which is one of the reason I don't like this festival and the reason why I painted this. I would rather pay my respect quietly, because the traffic is so crowded too (. n .)
